Future product- Wallets but they terrify me.
We’re always trying to think ahead and keep current. A fellow leather God is trying really hard to get me to more comfortable making wallets. I’m trying, but haven’t found a groove yet. I can’t get past the thought “Will someone actually pay $100 for a wallet?”
Wallet making is very time intensive. You have to make sure the weight of the leather is just right; the exterior has to be clean; stitching has to be perfect; you need to think about how many card pockets did it need; does it need RFID for a lining; and so much more. Yet, I see people online looking for wallets priced like Walmart. That scares me.
Not everything I make will be every body’s cup of tea or perfect price point. I get that, but the thought of making a good amount of wallets to show, and being rejected by a lack of sales or the comment “I can get that cheaper!” just petrifies me.
So yeah, when people ask why I don’t make wallets, that’s my thought process. I’m trying to push past it.

As for products, I’m going to try and highlight some different items weekly.
Let’s start with bodices, or add i like to call them, medieval wonder bras. They are versatile and will take you to the next level, whether you are going to a ren faire, a celtic festival, or zooming about.
We make them so to look can change out the panels to other colors (or sizes if needed). We sell the additional panels. Most people lose and gain weight in the front, not so much the back, so once we got your back sized, your bodice can last you years.
2025
Well 2025 is starting off with a force of nature. We are starting to line up our sites for 2025 so keep an eye for announcements. So far we are confirmed for Dill’s Celtic Festival, and the Garb and Craft sale in Timonium in July. We also have our shop at the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire.
New for us for 2025 is that we will be selling some of our products at Expressive Avenue in Lancaster, PA. It’s a vendor/crafter based store. We’re excited and will be sharing updates as we stock it.
I’m working on resetting the work space.
Yuletide at Mt. Hope Estate & Winery (aka Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire)
We’re gearing up for this 3 week holiday event. Lots of vendors, carollers, shows (like the Kamikaze Fireflies!), smores, and general fun.
Our booth will be open and we’re sharing space with Scheafer Creations and Tyx (aka Tigger) who will be bringing in their woodwork creations as well as some 3d items.
We will have our normal gear, but more geared towards gift giving and the holidays. More purses, bags, and totes. More ornaments. More unique earrings.

Trying to get better with posts
I’m trying, folks. Here’s where we will be for May and June.
2024 is here
New year means new things, right? That was 2023 for us. We expanded our building at the PA Renaissance Faire, went in as a demo artist for the Southern Maryland Celtic Festival, vended at a Viking event in DE, and did a Victorian Yuletide event. We ventured as patrons to two other faires And yours truly took a dream trip to Italy and observed gold embossing on leather plus talked to a master leathersmith. What can we do new in 2024?
I am so wanting to add new designs while keeping up with old ones. I don’t want to overdo it but I also need to express more of the artistic side of me. You’ll see more one of kind pieces in the booths and here. I’m adding some different shows to my line up as well as placing a few of my pieces in a local artist-supported shop.
I’m organizing and working down ideas. The minions are gearing up for the season with what they can make and contribute. I love being able to say it’s handmade by us all, not just me sometimes. I’m also going to take more time for me. I work 7 days a week normally, and Italy taught me you can be an artist and still enjoy life.
Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire
Next up on our schedule is the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire opening in August. If you popped out to Celtic Fling, you might have seen a few changes in the booth- like size. We expanded and will be bringing new items into the shop, as well as new colors to old favorites, and even some old designs making a comeback. Looking forward to seeing you!
