What do you do with your leather after you’re done wearing it for the season, display it, etc.
Leather balm, Dawn dish soap, duster, oil, Oh my!
DON’T WATER THEM! Keep them dust free and not in direct sunlight.Belts can be rolled for storage. Wipe off any moisture. You can oil them, use our leather balm on it, or any other leather conditioner. Don’t let it sit wet. Bodices, Jerkins, Skirts, and Halters can be hung or the deerskin rolled up. Spill something, wipe it off! Use Dawn dish soap (original blue one) to spot clean. One part vodka to 3 parts water in a spray bottle helps get rid or odor. Getting stiff, little bit of conditioner worked into the leather. Pouches will last if you keep them clean. Same rules for cleaning as the apparel.
